One of our clients is seeking an AutoCAD designer with experience to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for drafting and manufacturing processes, attention to detail, and a strong desire to learn and grow within the company. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals in a collaborative environment while contributing to the development of innovative products.
Responsibilities:
- Assist sales, estimators, and engineers in creating detailed drawings and specifications for manufacturing processes and products using AutoCAD software.
- Review and interpret technical drawings, sketches, and specifications provided by engineers and designers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and quality assurance, to ensure the accuracy and completeness of drawings.
- Make revisions to drawings as necessary based on feedback from senior team members or changes in project requirements.
- Participate in design reviews and provide input on design improvements and optimization.
- Adhere to company standards and procedures for drafting and documentation.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in drafting technology and software.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Engineering, Drafting, or related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD software with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in drafting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word).
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting and documentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and software tools.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
Salary is $60k–$70k | Full-time work on site; no hybrid option.
