We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Tax Manager to join our Real Estate team located in our Boston, MA office.
CohnReznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered hybrid which means team members are expected to alternate time between both remote and office. This position will support our Real Estate Industry Group and more specifically, the Commercial Real Estate team. YOUR ROLE.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- You will be responsible for managing all aspects of client relationships.
- You will help generate opportunities within existing clients, as well as meeting with and pursuing new clients.
- You will develop a thorough understanding of all audit, tax and consulting services provided by the firm, and actively participate in proposals.
- Work with a team to meet various department deadlines throughout the year
- Assist with the process and review of 1065 tax returns
- Other Ad Hoc projects as needed
YOUR EXPERIENCE.
The successful candidate will have:
- Bachelor's Degree required; Master's in Accounting/Taxation preferred
- CPA, JD or EA required
- Minimum of 6 years of progressive tax experience, include compliance and multi-state tax matters
- 1+ years of supervisory experience
- Real Estate industry experience preferred
- Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships
- Ability to lead, manage and develop staff in a highly interactive team environment
- Proven technical skills with MS Office to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Competence with tax compliance and research software to include CCH Axcess, BNA portfolio and projection, RIA Checkpoint
- Solid project management and organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to multi-task.
