Position: Field Service Engineer Location: Houston, TX


About the Role: As a Field Service Engineer, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the optimal performance and functionality of large pumps. Your responsibilities will include installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex pumping systems. You'll have the opportunity to work closely with clients, providing technical expertise and delivering exceptional service that exceeds expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site inspections, installations, and commissioning of large pumps for oil and gas applications.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to ensure continuous operation and reliability of equipment.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical issues and optimize equipment performance.
  • Provide comprehensive technical support and training to clients on pump operation and maintenance best practices.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of service activities, including reports, logs, and customer communications.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in field service engineering, Preferably within the oil and gas industry.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Strong knowledge of pump technology, including centrifugal and positive displacement pumps.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
