UX/UI Designer

ZAG Interactive is looking for a mid level designer with experience in web and print to join our growing design team. As a designer, you will be responsible for balancing a multitude of projects to best serve the needs of our clients. The right candidate has experience providing engaging solutions to meet UX goals and is also ready to jump in and design social media campaigns or produce imagery for a 100-page website.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the project team to create large scale websites that translate user needs, client goals and project requirements into elegant solutions
• Produce low-fidelity wireframes/sketches of proposed layouts to demonstrate design strategy
• Design pixel-perfect screen mockups across multiple platforms and screen sizes
• Effectively convey design ideas to both internal teams and clients
• Conduct layout adjustments based on user, team and client feedback
• Provide production support and photo sourcing for large websites
• Produce designs for social media and integrated marketing campaigns
• Ask smart questions and make strategic design decisions
• Efficiently manage time and deliverables to balance multiple projects at once
• Work under the Creative Director to take direction and make adjustments as needed

Requirements

• A minimum of three (3) years of professional UX/UI Design experience
• Bachelor of Fine Arts in graphic design or applicable field
• Online portfolio with multiple examples of website design
• An understanding of business goals and requirements, and the ability to translate them into creative digital experiences
• Must be proficient in Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite.
• Demonstrated experience working through traditional design phases (discovery, wireframes, design mockups, builds)
• A deep understanding of and experience with responsive design
• A talent for clearly articulating design thinking and process
• Strong understanding of UX design principles and a solid foundation in layout and design
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
