Senior Cybersecurity Analyst

LaSalle Network is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to join our client's team in Glenview, Illinois. As a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst, you will play a crucial role in partnering with the business as a cybersecurity champion, ensuring that all initiatives align with proper standards and compliance requirements. With a minimum of three years of experience in cybersecurity, you will bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our organization.

Senior Cybersecurity Analyst Responsibilities:

• Act as a cybersecurity liaison between the business units and the cybersecurity team, ensuring that all initiatives and projects meet established security standards and compliance requirements
• Provide expert guidance and recommendations to business stakeholders on cybersecurity best practices, policies and procedures
• Conduct regular security assessments and risk analyses to identify potential vulnerabilities and threats to the organization's systems and data
• Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies, controls and measures to mitigate risks and protect against cyber threats
• Monitor security systems and tools to detect and respond to security incidents in a timely manner
• Investigate security incidents and breaches, and provide recommendations for remediation and prevention
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement and maintain security solutions that meet business needs while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
• Stay up-to-date on the latest cybersecurity threats, trends and technologies, and provide training and awareness programs to educate employees on cybersecurity best practices
• Participate in the development and maintenance of cybersecurity policies, standards and procedures
• Serve as a subject matter expert on cybersecurity matters, representing the organization in meetings, conferences and industry forums

Senior Cybersecurity Analyst Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on security analysis, risk management and compliance
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO, CIS)
• Experience with security assessment tools and techniques, such as vulnerability scanning, penetration testing and threat modeling
• Proficiency in security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, endpoint security solutions and security information and event management (SIEM) platforms
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and prioritize security risks and vulnerabilities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are a plus
