Position:: Technical Implementation Consultant (33226558)

Location:: Round Rock, TX or Orlando, FL (Hybrid 2-3 days)


Duties:

The Technical Implementation Consultant provides implementation and post-sale technical expertise around HMH products, services, and platforms to customers and internal team members across the organization. The role requires strong knowledge of HMH digital products and platforms, as well as the ability to work closely with both internal stakeholders and school district administration/IT, ultimately leading to successful product implementations and ongoing support.


  • Demonstrates strong knowledge of HMH technical solutions with specific focus on implementation, rostering, access, interoperability, and navigating HMH platforms
  • Demonstrate HMH technology platforms and related technology including Learning Management System (LMS) interoperability solutions virtually or in person
  • Ensure customers successfully roster into HMH platforms and understand their role in communicating the teacher role for a successful implementation as it pertains to rostering and accessing products .
  • Support highly complex rostering and SSO processes.
  • Participates on other projects as requested.
  • Track and document all work completed.


Skills:

  • Proven experience successfully managing multiple competing priority projects in a complex and rapidly changing landscape
  • The ability to generate dashboards, presentation slides, and reports providing program updates to support management and various levels of HMH leadership
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to manage effective communications up through senior levels of management and directly with customers
  • Able to work productively under tight deadlines, dynamic priorities, and flexible schedules
  • Must be a strong team player that is able to work across the organization, as well as work independently, to move initiatives forward to achieve project goals
  • Act as a champion for the customer experience team while meeting organizational operating expense objectives
  • Able to understand customer and business technology requirements and apply solutions to meet customer needs
  • Demonstrates desire and ability to learn new skills as technology evolves


Education:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 4 years experience with technical system implementations or integration of packaged application software, including an understanding of modern technology stacks and an ability to operate in an Agile environment
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills (Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint required, Visio preferred)
  • Experience with Google Workspace for Education and Learning Management Systems (LMS) preferred
  • K-12 Educational Publishing Experience preferred
  • Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
