Kane Partners is seeking Sr. Land/Site Development Project Engineer(s) to join our client due to growth These roles will be located in Louisville, KY.


This role will be responsible for: Evaluating, selecting, and applying standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria on moderately complex projects. Conceptualize the initial civil design approach for assigned phases of large land/site development including:


· Using advanced techniques, theory precepts and practices in the civil engineering field and related sciences and disciplines.

· Serving as liaison between clients and agencies, subcontractors, and design teams on complex project issues.

· Making design recommendations, adaptations, and modifications.

· Planning, scheduling, conducting, and/or coordinating detailed phases of assigned project work.

· Carrying out complex or novel assignments requiring the development of new or improved civil engineering techniques or procedures to create new or refined equipment, materials, processes or methods.

· Creating own design work using computer-aided or manual drafting techniques.

· Preparing reports and correspondence concerning the direction of projects.

· Performing field investigation or inspections.

· Conducting constructability reviews or assist in the design/plan/review of other civil engineering projects.

· Reviewing plans and preparing/reviewing technical specifications, contract documents, and estimates.


Requirements:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.

· PE license strongly preferred or the ability to obtain a professional license in 6-12 months.

· Five or more (5+) years of experience in civil engineering, land development industry or related industry experience strongly preferred.

· Demonstrated proficiency with computer applications and civil engineering design software such as Civil3D.

· Familiarity with reading construction plans.
