Summary of Position:

The Lead Technician is responsible for installing and servicing products at customer’s job site. The lead technician will need to directly communicate with the Director of Operations. Organizing supplies, product, and transportation of high value equipment to job site will be among daily duties.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Meet with Director of Operations (ensure timeline and expectations)
  • Complete Assigned Work Orders/Change Orders/Time Cards
  • Onsite installation of AV, Lighting and Shade systems (Local travel)
  • Setup/Configure/Program (Networks/Control Systems/Cameras)
  • Clean Work Site Daily
  • Maintain Work Van (Stock & Appearance)
  • Great Customer Service & Confidentiality (high profile and high demand customers)

Qualifications:

  • Advanced understanding of audio, video, lighting, and control integration systems
  • Retrofit construction or electrician knowledge
  • Experience with Low-voltage Wiring & connectivity
  • Troubleshooting Skills
  • Attention to Detail
  • Ability and Desire to Pursue Continuing Education

Additional Requirements:

  • Physical: Standing/Kneeling/Lifting
  • Space: Tight spaces/ladder height
  • Driving: Valid driver's license & clean record
  • Background: Pass a criminal background check

Job Type: Full-time


Pay: $30-40 per hour


Benefits:

  • Paid time off


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday


Experience:

  • Minimal 2 years working in the AV Custom Integration industry
  • Electrical and/or construction (carpentry) experience a plus


Language:

  • English (Fluently) (Required)


Work Location: In person in Monterey, CA (with travel all over the Monterey Peninsula)
