Project Engineer

Description
As a Projects Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various projects within our organization. This role requires a strong technical background and the ability to effectively communicate with team members and clients.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage computer networking projects from initial planning through execution and completion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Monitor and track project progress, identifying any potential risks or issues and implementing appropriate solutions.
- Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.
- Evaluate project outcomes and identify areas for improvement, implementing process enhancements when necessary.
- Prepare and deliver project reports, including project scope, objectives, and deliverables, to management and clients.
- Ensure deliverables meet technical quality, cost & schedule objectives.
- Maintain accurate documentation standards throughout the execution of a project including detailed work records, time records, and technical documentation records.
- Be an escalation point for the Service Delivery team and assist with complex support tickets with urgency and consideration.
- Excellent communication, mentoring, interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate with senior management, peers, and employees.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline preferred and 1+ year of related experience executing IT projects.
- Previous experience working on small, medium, and large-scale IT projects for customers having up to 3,000 users and multiple locations.
- Certifications are a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration, team engagement, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Experience working in the Managed Service Provider (MSP) industry.
- 3 or more years of experience and knowledge of technology solutions used in the MSP space including Microsoft Server and Desktop, Active Directory, SharePoint/OneDrive, Azure AD (Now Entra), Apple MacOS, Cisco Networking.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where multiple projects are being developed and deployed simultaneously
