Schedule: M-F, 8-5, and some overtime will be required for coverage of an occasional Saturday project or evening project.


Duration: Temp to hire around 1 Year.


Job Description:

It has a mix of office, lab, and Pilot Plant. 90% of all site maintenance is subcontracted, making the Industrial Maintenance Supervisor/Lead position a unique role in that the individual will be involved in oversite of the maintenance subcontractors and projects, while also performing an assortment of maintenance and safety tasks themselves. Successful candidates will be capable of leading and working in a team environment, possess good written and verbal communication skills, problem solving ability, conflict resolution skills, strong interpersonal skills, and an ability to adapt to changing situations. This role reports to the Facilities Manager.

  • Complete general maintenance work orders for tasks around the building from moving a table to fixing a leaking drain.
  • Will oversee maintenance of Lab and Pilot Plant R&D Equipment, working alongside R&D to make sure their industrial pilot scale food manufacturing equipment stays in working order. This includes working to bring in Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing subcontracted techs to assist with this task where additional expertise is required.
  • Will not have any direct reports but will oversee subcontractors with (Office Service Manager), (Facilities Specialist), and (Facilities and Engineering Manager).


Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma
  • At least one of the following: A Carpentry, Electrical, Plumbing, Steam Fitting, Sprinkler Fitting, or HVAC certification.
  • Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing knowledge of Best Practices.
  • Minimum experience of 5+ years in trades or maintenance position.
  • Minimum 3+ years in a lead or supervisor role.
