We’re committed to creating sustainable, efficient, and state-of-the-art spaces that meet the evolving needs of our clients. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Construction Project Manager to join our team to manage industrial projects from conception through completion for our expanding portfolio.

Position Summary:

As a Senior Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful planning, execution, and delivery of multiple industrial construction projects. This role requires a deep understanding of the entire construction process, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage large teams and resources. You will work closely with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other key stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Lead and manage all phases of industrial construction projects, from pre-construction planning to project closeout. Provide strategic direction, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Client & Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors. Maintain strong relationships and ensure clear and consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Team Management: Supervise, mentor, and coordinate with project teams, including construction managers, superintendents, and subcontractors. Ensure that all team members are aligned with project goals and deliverables.
  • Budget & Cost Control: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring effective cost tracking, reporting, and variance analysis. Identify and mitigate potential cost overruns or delays.
  • Scheduling & Coordination: Oversee project scheduling and ensure that all milestones are met. Coordinate resources, materials, and subcontractors to optimize project efficiency.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all construction work meets or exceeds project specifications, quality standards, and local regulations. Conduct regular site inspections and address any issues that arise.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks, including safety concerns, delays, and scope changes. Implement mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions and ensure timely delivery.
  • Contract Administration: Review and manage contracts, change orders, and other project-related documentation to ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
  • Compliance & Safety: Enforce safety protocols on-site, ensuring all workers comply with OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards. Conduct regular safety meetings and audits.
  • Project Closeout: Ensure that all project closeout tasks, including punch lists, final inspections, and documentation, are completed to the client’s satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on industrial properties.
  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Industry Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of industrial construction methods, processes, and best practices. Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and contract management.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate large teams of construction professionals, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Budget & Schedule Management: Strong experience in managing project budgets, timelines, and resources. Ability to identify and resolve scheduling conflicts and cost overruns.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend), project scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional), LEED AP, or other industry certifications are a plus.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, project teams, and external stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to address issues quickly and effectively while keeping the project on track.
