The Maples is a residential treatment program overseeing the treatment of various medical and mental health concerns for our teenage girls who are struggling with their mental health, including trauma, disordered eating and/or substance abuse.


Administrator has the following assigned responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the on-site, day-to-day operations of the BHS provider.
  • Supervises the overall BHS provider’s operation commensurate with the authority conferred by the governing body and his/her licensing board and scope of practice and participates in care conferences, treatment planning, and discharge planning in accordance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
  • Oversees and/or conducts interviewing, hiring, training, evaluating, disciplining, and terminating employees.
  • Responsible for overall staff accountability
  • Assists the Medical Director and Clinical Director with the development and implementation of policies and procedures
  • Provides only those services that are within the person’s scope of practice
  • Ensures that the admissions process is efficient and complete
  • Responsible for the development and adherence to facility budgets


Administrator has the following responsibilities or designates the duties to a qualified designee:


  • On duty and on call 24 hours per day, 7 days per week - Support Hammond and Baton Rouge treatment facilities
  • Provides supervision, utilizing evidence-based techniques related to behavioral health counseling.
  • Serves as a resource for other professionals counseling persons with behavioral health disorders.
  • Functions as Client advocate in treatment decisions

REPORTING AND ACCOUNTABILITY

The Administrator reports and is accountable to the Board of Directors. Agency Employees report and are accountable to the Administrator.
