Graphic Designer

Status: Full-time

Location: Champaign, IL

Position Overview: Our full-time in-house Graphic Designer is responsible for bringing amazing content to life for our company and our clients. This role requires a creative and imaginative individual who is comfortable with designing a variety of assets. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Create a variety of promotional materials for Clanin Marketing and our clients including brand guidelines, brochures, booklets, direct mail pieces, logos, newsletters, posters, emails, vehicle wraps, and more. 
• Create digital graphics for web, social media, ad and email campaigns
• Create and produce accurate electronic layout files for press 
• Manage the proofing and production process for all print materials 
• Take creative direction and translate into concepts that achieve desired direction 
• Work directly with clients to clearly understand design directions and requested changes
• Deliver consistent quality, adhere to company and client brand graphic standards
• Work on numerous projects at once, sometimes under demanding deadlines 
• Assistance with web design layout and offering valuable input during the design process
• Collaborate in team brainstorms, bringing fresh ideas to the table

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience as a graphic designer 
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and ability to adapt to emerging design platforms 
• Experience with photo editing software such as Adobe Photoshop or equivalent is preferred
• Familiarity with Canva is a plus, especially for aiding clients with basic brand setup
• Excellent portfolio that includes examples of digital, print, or other design work
• Strong typography, layout, hierarchy, and branding skills 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
• Ability to clearly communicate with clients  
• Positive creative energy and ability to work well in a team environment 
• The ability to easily adopt to constant change is a must
