A manufacturer of EV Chargers are is on the lookout for a Capital Buyer to join their Supply Management team at the corporate level. The selected candidate will be at the forefront of strategic procurement activities, focusing on Capital Equipment along with a variety of indirect commodities and services.


Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of supply chain experience with a focus on direct material sourcing and international trade compliance.
  • Expertise in purchasing processes and procedures in a multinational setting, with strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, or a technical field; other degrees considered with relevant experience.
  • Physical ability to perform office duties with occasional travel to company locations.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage supplier relationships for direct and indirect goods and services, ensuring optimal cost and supplier performance.
  • Collaborate with global and local teams on purchasing strategies and supply management projects, including risk management and sustainability efforts.
  • Lead negotiation of supplier agreements and manage procurement processes to improve operational efficiency and financial performance.
  • Oversee critical supplier onboarding, including confidentiality agreements and vendor data collection, and support environmental management initiatives.
