About the role:

The Human Resources (HR) Analyst will collect, compile, and analyze HR data, metrics, and statistics, and apply this data to make recommendations related to HR processes, retention, and legal compliance. This position plays a vital role in collecting, structuring, analyzing, and reporting HR processes and data. Key competencies include data analysis, relationship management, HR expertise, communication, HR systems, and cultural awareness.


Responsibilities:

  • Utilize analytical skills to coordinate, facilitate, and assist in implementing processes relating to HR Operations, employee records, and required human resources reporting.
  • Support the optimization and implementation of data processes and systems.
  • Collect and compile HR metrics and data from a variety of sources including the Human Resources information system (HRIS) and payroll outputs, management and employee surveys, exit interviews, employment records, government labor statistics, competitors’ practices, and other sources.
  • Maintain HR data tools, reporting, and dashboards.
  • Basic analysis of data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention to retention, motivation, turnover, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Produce and deliver standard (monthly, quarterly, and annual) and customized HR reports as well as ad hoc HR data requests.
  • Maintain integrity and confidentiality of departmental records and employee documentation.
  • Coordinate research and retrieval of necessary artifacts for internal and external audits.
  • Assist in various HR projects, continuous improvement initiatives, and rollout and implementation of HR programs.
  • Assist the department, provide backup support, and perform other duties as assigned.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
  • 1+ years of progressively responsible human resources experience, including handling sensitive personnel issues and making public presentations regarding organizational issues and initiatives.
  • Experience and proficiency in relevant HRIS system
  • Experience with data visualizations using either R/Tableau/PowerBI.
  • Experience with statistical modeling and descriptive statistics.
  • Proficient with technology and Microsoft office suite and ability to pick up new technology/software quickly.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of progressively responsible human resources experience
  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis
  • Experience and proficiency in Workday.
  • MS Excel Wizardry
