What are we looking for in our Laboratory Support Specialist ?

The Scientific Team at Russell Tobin & Associates is hiring a Lab Support Coordinator for a world-class Life Science client near Seattle, WA.

Responsibilities

  • Act as back-up for gas management staff – gas exchanges, installations, and performing all duties while gas manager is absent
  • Coordinate lab services
  • Handle and dispose of hazardous waste materials or biohazardous substances
  • Inspect equipment and tools regulatory
  • Complete relevant documentation
  • Oversee all stock items in and near the labs (glassware, lab coats, PPE, consumables)

Requirements

  • Associates degree in Science, Chemistry, or Biology with 1+ years’ experience in a customer facing role within a scientific environment OR High School Diploma with 3+ years chemical management experience in a customer facing role within a scientific environment

Additional Details:

  • This is not a hands-on lab position
  • 6+ month contract with potential for extension/conversion
  • Pay rate: up to $24-26/hr depending on experience
  • Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Must be authorized to work in the United States.
