Our company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Millwork Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating custom, high-quality architectural millwork, cabinetry, baseboards, window casings, and shiplap. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on diverse and exciting projects while utilizing your creativity, precision, and craftsmanship. We are looking for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is detail-oriented, and has a strong understanding of the complexities of millwork engineering.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Millwork Engineer, you will be responsible for:

1. Designing, creating, and installing custom cabinetry, architectural millwork, baseboards, window casings, and shiplap.
2. Reviewing and interpreting architectural drawings, specifications, and other design materials.
3. Collaborating closely with architects, designers, and other team members to ensure that all millwork complies with the project's aesthetic and functional requirements.
4. Conducting quality control checks to ensure that all millwork meets our high standards of precision and quality.
5. Troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during the fabrication or installation process.
6. Maintaining a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
7. Continually improving your skills and knowledge of millwork engineering, keeping up to date with the latest trends, techniques, and technologies in the industry.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in millwork engineering, specifically with custom cabinetry, architectural millwork, baseboards, window casings, and shiplap.
2. A strong portfolio showcasing your skills, creativity, and attention to detail.
3. Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural drawings and specifications.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively and efficiently.
5. A strong commitment to safety and a thorough understanding of safety protocols and procedures in the millwork engineering industry.
6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members, architects, and designers.
7. A high level of physical fitness, with the ability to lift heavy items and work on your feet for extended periods.
8. A passion for millwork engineering and a commitment to creating high-quality, precise, and beautiful millwork.
