We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Permanent Registered Nurse for our Critical Care Unit. This position is an excellent opportunity for a professional individual who is passionate about providing top-tier medical care to patients in critical conditions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Medical Intensive Care Units (MICU), Surgical Intensive Care Units (SICU), Pediatric Intensive Care Units (PICU), as well as in intensive, critical, and acute care settings. This role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Registered Nurse in our Critical Care Unit, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Providing direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles.
2. Conducting patient assessments and creating personalized care plans.
3. Administering medications, wound care, and numerous other personalized interventions.
4. Interpreting patient information and making critical decisions about needed actions.
5. Coordinating care, in collaboration with a wide array of healthcare professionals.
6. Providing emotional support and education to the patient’s family about conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
7. Responding to life-saving situations, using nursing standards and protocols for treatment.
8. Acting as a patient advocate while providing education and support to patients and their families.
9. Documenting patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
10. Maintaining a cooperative relationship among health care teams by communicating information, responding to requests, building rapport, participating in team problem-solving methods.

Qualifications:

To qualify for the role of Permanent Registered Nurse in our Critical Care Unit, the candidate must possess the following:

1. A current and valid RN license.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in MICU, SICU, PICU, or similar critical care settings.
3. A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
4. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications.
5. Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and patient care skills.
6. Ability to effectively handle stressful situations and high-stress environments.
7. Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and leadership skills.
8. Excellent knowledge of emergency care.
9. In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination, etc.) and willingness to follow them at all times.
10. Proficient in the use of modern medical equipment and technology.
