We are collaborating with our agency client in Overland Park, KS, to recruit a Senior Graphic Designer for their Creative Services team. In this essential position, you will partner with team members to craft memorable customer experiences and unique visual identities that surpass client expectations.


Your proficiency in visual storytelling will be crucial in captivating and informing various audiences. You will work alongside content specialists, creative leads, and account managers to deliver high-quality solutions that tackle clients' business challenges and drive positive results. Expectations:

  • Understanding of design trends and emerging technologies
  • In‐depth knowledge of color theory, composition, and typography
  • Ensure brand consistency throughout applicable digital properties
  • A strong eye for visual composition
  • Able to give and receive constructive criticism

  • Work independently and cooperatively on multiple projects


Responsibilities:


  • Develop illustrations, logos, and other designs
  • Work with copywriters and creative director to produce final design
  • Prepare presentation decks and present ideas
  • Create and design various materials for print and digital collateral
  • Experience in retouching and manipulation of images
  • Work with print production manager to produce printed material
  • Convert strategic direction into high‐quality design within an established brand identity


Qualifications:


  • Initiative: exhibit self‐motivation and a strong desire to perform at a high level
  • 3+ years' experience as a graphic designer or in a related field
  • Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
  • Expert skills using design programs, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and others
  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience within the advertising and marketing industry
  • Business acumen (financial, marketing, and strategic) skills necessary to effectively interface internally
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills (verbal, written, and listening) necessary to provide the highest level of internal and Client service and collaboration
  • Desire and willingness to excel as a team
  • Ability to travel as needed or required
  • Unusual work hours are occasionally necessary to meet Agency and client timelines and deliverables
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
