Job Overview:


We are seeking a skilled SAP ABAP Backend & Cloud BTP Developer with SAP BTP Cloud Architect experience to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP ABAP development and a strong understanding of cloud technologies, specifically SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining custom SAP solutions that integrate both on-premise and cloud environments, ensuring seamless operations and enhanced business processes. Key Responsibilities:


ABAP Development:

• Design, develop, and maintain custom SAP applications using ABAP, including Reports, Interfaces, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows.

• Optimize existing ABAP code for performance, scalability, and maintainability.

• Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and robust SAP solutions.

• Debug and resolve issues within existing SAP applications, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

• Cloud BTP Development & Architecture:

• Architect and design cloud-based solutions on SAP BTP, leveraging services such as SAP Integration Suite, SAP Extension Suite, and SAP HANA Cloud.

• Develop and deploy applications using SAP BTP tools and technologies, including SAP Fiori and SAP UI5.

• Lead the integration of on-premises SAP systems with SAP BTP to enable hybrid cloud solutions, ensuring a scalable and flexible architecture.

• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with relevant data protection standards within the cloud environment.

• Define and optimize cloud architecture for new and existing solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards and business needs.

• Integration & API Management:

• Develop and manage APIs and integrations between SAP systems and external applications, using SAP Gateway, OData services, and other integration tools.

• Ensure seamless data flow and synchronization between cloud and on-premises systems.

• Architect end-to-end integration strategies for SAP and non-SAP systems to create unified and consistent business processes.


Project Collaboration:


• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality solutions on time.

• Participate in project planning, design sessions, and code reviews to ensure alignment with business objectives and technical standards.

• Lead architectural design reviews to ensure optimal cloud implementation strategies and technical delivery.

• Continuous Improvement:

• Stay up to date with the latest SAP technologies, tools, and trends, particularly in cloud computing and SAP BTP.

• Provide technical expertise and mentorship to junior developers and support their professional growth.

• Advise on best practices and strategies for cloud architecture, ensuring optimal use of SAP BTP capabilities.


Qualifications:


• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development, including hands-on experience with Reports, Interfaces, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows.

• 3+ years of experience working as an SAP BTP Cloud Architect, designing, and implementing cloud-based solutions on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).

• Strong understanding of SAP architecture and the ability to integrate on-premises SAP systems with SAP BTP.

• Proficiency in SAP Fiori, SAP UI5, CAP, and other relevant SAP BTP technologies.

• Experience with SAP HANA, SAP Gateway, and OData services.

• Proven experience in cloud architecture design and optimization, particularly in hybrid cloud environments.

• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
