We are seeking an experienced Machinist/Programmer to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. This is a permanent full-time position where you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating various types of CNC machines. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, with a deep understanding and hands-on experience in CNC programming, mills, lathes, and various other machinery. Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Designing, programming, simulating, and testing complex CNC programs to control machining operations on mills, lathes, and other equipment.
• Setting up, operating, and maintaining various types of CNC machinery including Hurco, VMC, Index, Akuma, Samsung, Mitsubishi, Sinker EDM, Wire EDM, and others.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
• Monitoring the feed and speed of machines during the machining process and making necessary adjustments to ensure accuracy.
• Selecting, aligning, and securing holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines.
• Detecting malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjusting machine controls as required.
• Adhering to all safety protocols and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Collaborating with engineers and other personnel to implement operating procedures and resolve system malfunctions.
• Conducting regular inspections of machinery, analyzing test results, and adjusting or repairing machines as necessary.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Machinist/Programmer in the manufacturing industry.
• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with CNC programming, mills, lathes, and various other machinery.
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining machinery such as Hurco, VMC, Index, Akuma, Samsung, Mitsubishi, Sinker EDM, Wire EDM, etc.
• Strong ability to read, interpret, and work from blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in CAM and NX software.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items and work for extended periods.
• A valid machinist certification is a plus.
