What are we looking for in our LAB Technician?

Russell Tobin's client, a multinational Manufacturing and Automotive company is seeking a Lab Technician in Maplewood, MN

 This role will support various technology development projects by developing, improving, and executing analytical test methods and conducting lab scale experiments.

Employment Type: Contract/Onsite

Location: Maplewood, MN

Pay rate: $20- $23/hr, DOE

Responsibilities:

  • Sample measurement and analysis
  • Develop, improve, and execute test methods
  • Conduct laboratory scale experiments
  • Document data using excel and document test methods and results in written format
  • Actively participate in team meetings and safety reviews

Requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED or higher
  • Minimum one (1) year combined laboratory, manufacturing and/or pilot plant experience
  • Minimum one (1) year experience with Microsoft Excel

Nice to have:

  • Two Year Technical or associate’s degree from an accredited university
  • Minimum three (3) years’ experience in a lab/pilot/manufacturing facility
  • Hands on experience with analytical testing
  • Strong technical and/or mechanical background
  • Ability to work well both in multi-disciplinary teams and independently
