Scott & Associates, P.C., a well-established multi-state legal recoveries law firm, is actively on the lookout for a motivated Attorney to join the team and represent our firm in Alabama.
Since our inception in May 2000, we've evolved into a significant player in debt recovery litigation, providing comprehensive solutions for major banks and creditors.
This position is more than just a job; it's a commission-eligible opportunity. Earn commissions based on attorney-negotiated settlements, enhancing your income on top of the listed base salary.
Your role in this adventure:
- Review and approve collection claims placed with the Firm.
- Represent clients in civil collection matters within the state.
- Approve and execute pleadings for timely case progression.
- Maintain regular contact with courts, opposing counsel, and consumers for effective case management.
- Manage the docket, including trial preparation and post-judgment enforcement.
- Assist in the management and supervision of cases.
What we're looking for:
- Currently licensed and in good standing with the AL Bar.
- Thorough understanding of Alabama Civil Practice law.
- Dedication to operational excellence.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Disciplined work ethic.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
