Centurion Selection are partnered with a dynamic and innovative construction firm specializing in the development of stick frame multifamily housing projects.


Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Superintendent to join the team and oversee stick frame multifamily construction projects from start to finish. The Lead Superintendent will be responsible for coordinating and managing all on-site activities, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality.


Key Responsibilities:


Project Management:

  • Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of stick frame multifamily construction projects.
  • Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and timelines, and monitor progress to identify and address any issues or delays.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and regulations to create a secure work environment for all personnel on-site.


Team Leadership:

  • Supervise and mentor on-site construction teams, including foremen, tradespeople, and laborers, to ensure efficient and productive work practices.
  • Provide guidance and direction to subcontractors and vendors, fostering positive working relationships and promoting collaboration.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to verify compliance with project specifications and industry standards.


Communication and Collaboration:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, communicating project status, updates, and any issues or concerns in a clear and timely manner.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and other professionals to resolve design conflicts, technical challenges, and scope changes effectively.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork and accountability among all project team members, promoting open communication and collaboration to achieve project goals.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in stick frame multifamily construction, with a proven track record of successfully managing similar projects from inception to completion.
  • Extensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques, particularly related to stick frame construction.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve excellence.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Procore, Microsoft Project, or Primavera P6.
  • OSHA certification and familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in the construction industry.
