Position Summary:

As a Tool Room Supervisor, you’ll be integral to our manufacturing operations, overseeing daily activities, maintaining high standards for tooling, and supporting production floor needs. This hands-on leadership role is perfect for those looking to make a real impact in a collaborative, innovative environment.

  • Shift: 3:30 pm - 12:00 am


Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate tool room team activities, ensuring high-quality output and efficient processes.
  • Provide technical guidance on tooling development, maintenance, and troubleshooting, supporting production as needed.
  • Serve as a hands-on leader capable of performing all duties of a Journeyman Toolmaker.
  • Facilitate the setup and adjustment of press equipment as required.
  • Foster continuous improvement, setting and achieving departmental goals with your team.
  • Utilize CAD skills for periodic design tasks and embrace learning opportunities in various software tools.
  • Ensure safety and compliance procedures are followed and hold team members accountable.
  • Order tooling materials, oversee CNC and wire EDM processes, and maintain accurate data collection.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, support training initiatives, and manage corrective actions.


Qualifications:

  • Journeyman Tool & Die Certification, with a minimum of 4 years of apprenticeship and 5 years of professional experience.
  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and blueprint reading.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong communication skills with a team-oriented mindset.
