Job Title: Software Engineer/Backstage.io Developer (Java/Python with Backstage.io)

Location: Plano, TX (Day 1 Onsite)

We are seeking an experienced Backstage.io Developer to join our team and help us build and maintain our cutting-edge platform. As a Backstage.io Developer, you will be responsible for developing, deploying, and managing applications, services, and infrastructure using Backstage.io. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth operation of our platform and contribute to the continuous improvement of our technology stack.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Backstage.io
• Proficient in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain applications, services, and infrastructure using Backstage.io.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and improve platform features and functionality
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Backstage.io and its components.
• Monitor and optimize platform performance, ensuring high availability and reliability
• Contribute to the development of best practices and guidelines for Backstage.io usage within the organization
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in Backstage.io and related technologies, and incorporate them into our platform when appropriate
• Mentor and support other team members in the use of Backstage.io and related technologies.
