Business Analyst – ERP Financial Systems Implementation

We are seeking a Business Analyst to join our client's team for an Expedited Workday Implementation project, transitioning from PeopleSoft to Workday’s Financial Reporting module. As a key player in this pilot program, you will work closely with technical and non-technical teams to ensure successful implementation, data mapping, and seamless transition processes.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document business requirements for the Workday Financial Reporting module.
  • Analyze existing Oracle data, read SQL code, and perform Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) operations for data mapping and transfer.
  • Interface with non-technical stakeholders to translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights.
  • Assist in developing, testing, and deploying ERP system enhancements to align with organizational goals.
  • Provide expertise in ERP system implementations, ensuring successful data migrations and integrations.
  • Conduct data validation and troubleshooting to ensure data integrity during migration.
  • Serve as a liaison between the Financial Reporting and IT teams, ensuring alignment and understanding of project objectives.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with ERP system implementations and financial reporting modules (Workday preferred).
  • Proficiency in SQL for querying and joining data sets (experience with Oracle databases preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to read code, perform ETL operations, and map data effectively.
  • Strong background in financial reporting and technical systems.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of simplifying technical details for non-technical audiences.
  • Experience in fast-paced projects requiring proactive problem-solving and multitasking.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills to meet aggressive timelines.


Additional Details:

  • Work Arrangement: Fully onsite for the first two months, transitioning to a hybrid schedule with a rotating in-office presence (2-3 days per week).
  • Project Timeline: Implementation begins in February, with a go-live target in June.
  • Interview Process: Two rounds – the first via Microsoft Teams with team members and the second in person with leadership.
  • Onboarding: Background and credit check required before the start date.
