Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Security Architect with specialized experience in Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) to join our team. The Security Architect with SASE Experience will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and optimizing our organization's SASE architecture to ensure secure access to resources from any location and device. This role requires deep technical expertise in SASE principles, cloud security, network architecture, and advanced threat protection. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of implementing SASE solutions and integrating them seamlessly into existing infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design, implement, and maintain a comprehensive SASE architecture to support secure access to resources for remote users, branch offices, and cloud environments.
  2. Evaluate existing network and security infrastructure and develop migration strategies to transition to a SASE model.
  3. Work closely with cross-functional teams to define security requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  4. Configure and deploy SASE components such as secure web gateways, cloud access security brokers (CASB), zero trust network access (ZTNA), and firewall as a service (FWaaS).
  5. Develop policies and procedures for secure access control, data protection, and threat detection and response within the SASE framework.
  6. Collaborate with vendors and service providers to evaluate and select SASE solutions that meet the organization's needs.
  7. Conduct risk assessments and security reviews to identify vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate controls and countermeasures.
  8. Provide technical guidance and support to other teams on SASE-related issues and best practices.
  9. Stay informed about industry trends, emerging threats, and best practices in SASE and cloud security.
  10. Participate in incident response and investigation activities as needed.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  2. Proven experience (5+ years) in a security architecture role with a focus on SASE.
  3. Deep understanding of SASE principles and components, including SD-WAN, cloud security, and zero trust architecture.
  4. Experience with cloud platforms and services such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
  5. Strong knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, etc.).
  6. Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to SASE (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST CSF, GDPR).
  7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  8. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  9. Relevant certifications such as CCNP Security, CCIE Security, CISSP, or equivalent.
  10. Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience implementing and managing security controls such as intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), web application firewalls (WAF), and endpoint protection.
  2. Experience with scripting and automation tools (Python, Ansible, Terraform) for managing SASE deployments.
  3. Knowledge of software-defined networking (SDN) and virtualization technologies.
  4. Experience in regulated industries such as finance, healthcare, or government.
