It’s the sweetest time of year again here at Krispy Kreme Our 10-week internship is designed for rising juniors, seniors, and grad students looking to make full use of their talents with hands-on work experience. Throughout your time during our internship program, you will tackle meaningful projects that leave a lasting impact; you will receive support and guidance from your manager along with interaction with members of our Global Leadership Team. Your internship will continue to develop your business acumen and professional skills.


Krispy Kreme’s Global Engineering Intern will be responsible for designing and managing new equipment / process innovation initiatives for global Krispy Kreme operations. The position will also provide technical support to broader Krispy Kreme manufacturing operations.



HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Innovate / design and manage the development of new equipment & processes capable of driving the KK top & bottom-line growth.
  • Lead the process innovation strategies to support the" new store of the future" process simplification and profitability targets (reduced SF, reduced operation expenses).
  • Evaluate processes across the KK manufacturing operations and recommend technological breakthrough solutions with fast paybacks.
  • Other manufacturing services responsibilities as assigned to include the day-to-day store operation manufacturing services support role.



YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS:

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program pursuing a mechanical/design engineering degree.
  • Excellent project management and program skills.
  • Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Team orientation with passion for results.
  • Ability to efficiently work in a hybrid (remote and in-office) environment
