Join our team as a contract Project Engineer for a significant project at our Mojave, California site.


  • Play a pivotal role in the detailed engineering, construction, commissioning, and startup phases of a $27MUSD initiative slated for Q3/2026.
  • Collaborate with our dynamic team, bringing expertise in Instrumentation & Controls, Electrical, Civil/Structural, or Mechanical/Piping engineering.
  • Support the Engineering Manager, NA Coagulants, and the Project Manager throughout the project's lifecycle.
  • Actively engage in Detailed Engineering, ensuring comprehensive review and identification of any gaps in documentation.
  • Maintain a regular on-site presence during execution to uphold safety, timeliness, and budget compliance.
  • Lead the cold commissioning phase to facilitate a seamless transition into startup and operation.
  • Adhere strictly to all EHS requirements and provide leadership during construction, including safety oversight, schedule management, and cost control.
  • Coordinate visits to key equipment suppliers and oversee equipment inspection and receiving at the project site.
  • Provide technical support during hot commissioning and ensure the early development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) during Detailed Engineering.
  • Desired qualifications include an engineering degree, 5-7+ years of technical experience in Project Engineering or Construction Management in the chemical industry, proficiency in reading and interpreting P&IDs, and familiarity with SAP systems.
