Job Summary

The Structural Designer who performs in this position will support the design and construction of semiconductor fabrication, manufacturing, and auxiliary utility/electrical facilities in our Advanced Tech Facilities Sector


Duties/Responsibilities

Coordinate structural design on multidiscipline project teams including Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Piping/Plumbing (MEP) professionals

Preparation of drawings and 3D models for cleanrooms, laboratories, chemical or gas storage rooms and support facilities; Generate material take offs.

BIM Design Coordination between disciplines

Integrate submittals, manufacturers data and asbuilt information into the BIM Model and Perform QA drafting check on design drawings.

Coordinate with other disciplines for ID check, clash report and review vendor drawings

Present 30% 60% 90% design reviews to stakeholders and multi-discipline teams

Work with other disciplines to find solutions

Respond to RFI’s

Represent the Design team in project meetings

Moderate checking

Comply with all CTCI Company and HSE procedures and policies.

Required Skills

  • in Autodesk AutoCAD. Revit, Navisworks, and BIM360
  • to multi-task and be flexible/adapt to rapidly changing project requirements/timelines
  • team player to promote a good working environment.
  • Job History , ability to work in team environment and communicates technical solution effectively is required.
  • skill to interface with other project team members.
  • to deliver on a project’s established scope, schedule and budget
  • to layout foundations and structures with limited input from Engineer
  • capabilities


Education and Experience

  • School diploma. Associate degree in Computer Aided Drafting preferred and 5 years of relevant experience or 10 years of experience in structural design of commercial, industrial, or manufacturing industries.
