Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Project Manager specializing in owner's representation. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing all aspects of development projects on behalf of our clients. From project inception to completion, the Project Manager will serve as the primary point of contact, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.


Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact and liaison between clients, design teams, contractors, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage the overall project scope, schedule, budget, and quality to ensure alignment with client objectives and expectations.
  • Coordinate and oversee the preparation of project documentation, including contracts, schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members to drive efficient and effective project delivery.
  • Manage change orders, RFIs, and other project-related documentation, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on project timelines and budgets.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks and challenges throughout the project lifecycle, implementing appropriate strategies and solutions to ensure project success.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to clients on project status, milestones, and key performance indicators.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders to promote collaboration and trust.
  • Stay informed of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to development and construction projects.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on owner's representation or development management.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, building systems, and project delivery methods.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing development projects from inception to completion, with a focus on delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in project management software such as Procore, Microsoft Project, or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes.
  • Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
