Job Description:

  • We have an exciting opportunity with one of our legal clients specializing in a wide range of civil litigation areas, including Asbestos Litigation/Products Liability, Business Litigation, Casualty Defense, Construction Litigation, Employment, Insurance Bad Faith, Insurance Coverage, Premises & Professional Liability, and Transportation.
  • This position is ideal for an experienced attorney seeking a flexible work environment while maintaining the high standards of litigation practice


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case development and strategy.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Manage discovery processes, such as depositions, interrogatories, and document production.
  • Prepare cases for trial, including witness coordination and evidence organization.
  • Collaborate with clients, colleagues, and experts to build strong case arguments.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, arbitrations, and other legal proceedings.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case documentation.


Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active California bar membership.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in civil litigation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in legal research and litigation management software.
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
