Oracle WMS

Location: Redlands, CA (Onsite, 5 days a week)

Our client, a leading provider of consumer products, is seeking an Oracle WMS & Supply Chain Technology Manager to oversee their global distribution systems and processes. This role involves managing all distribution center (DC) systems, application integration, and support projects. You'll ensure that our client's DC systems and processes are operating optimally, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide user support when DC system issues arise.

• Ensure compliance with standards, processes, and policies to maintain the integrity and quality of solution delivery.
• Develop and support safe and efficient global DC operational processes to reduce waste and manual efforts in Receiving, Putaway, Picking, and Outbound Logistics.
• Conduct regular reviews of DC operational systems and activities to ensure continuous improvement in methods, procedures, and efficiencies.
• Monitor and report on DC systems' usage and productivity, identifying issues and trends to inform DC management.
• Establish and maintain DC Quality Management Systems (like Lot Control, Expiry, Status Control) for food and non-food-based processes.
• Coordinate DC systems/WMS upgrades with internal and external IT resources.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for DC systems and processes, ensuring regular audits and version control.
• Provide guidance to all DC management and staff regarding process improvement and system training.
• Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, from business system analysts to leadership.
• Collaborate with senior leaders in IT and Operations on DC process and system change management.
• Partner with senior leadership to manage demand, capacity, and budgets.
• Work with vendors, local teams, offshore teams, and other departments within our client's matrix structure to achieve operational and strategic goals.

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Supply Chain, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
• At least 8 years of Oracle WMS experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a consulting role.
• Strong technical understanding of distribution center (DC) and IT systems.
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Self-motivated, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Proven experience in successfully delivering large-scale and high-volume platforms.
• Ability to travel to our client's headquarters and other DCs as needed.
