Job Description & Responsibilities :
This position directly supports the business by providing Quality products to HER. The Quality Control Analytical team perform the following key functions:
1) Perform analytical tests utilizing chromatography, spectroscopy, wet chemistry analysis, and other known tests according to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP). Provides disposition of commercial products to support business demands.
2) Coordinates out-of-specification investigations, implements corrective actions, suggests, and implements continuous improvements.
  • Prepares records necessary to track "hold” items. Conduct Out of Specification investigations on raw materials, bulk, finished goods, and contract manufactured products.
  • Ensures all quantities of affected materials or items are accounted for and appropriately held to prevent use or distribution.
  • Provides technical expertise and supports cross-functional investigations.
3) Manages raw material program and conduct testing on process water, swabs, and method transfer samples.
4) Support Operations with in-process color corrections, dispersions, and other analytical and/or physical tests to perform timely disposition of approved materials.
5) Communicates testing results in a timely manner to internal and external customers including technical interpretations and recommendations. Interacts frequently with customer groups concerning cross-functional projects and lab throughput.
6) Ensures timely communication to customers and Quality management regarding Operation issues, out-of-specifications, deviations, and coordinate external testing.
7) Responsible for the IQOQPQ, calibration, and maintenance of laboratory equipment including coordinating calibrations from external vendors.
8) Possess an understanding of current FDA regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices to ensure compliance.
9) Conducts training for new QCA team members and proactively seeks to incorporate scientific and technological advances to improve efficiency and productivity.

Skills & Qualifications :
  • 1-3 years' experience
