This role maintains elements of Viant Medical’s Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 13485 and FDA 21 CFR 820 requirements. Quality Inspectors are essential to confirming that parts destined for life-saving and life-enhancing medical devices meet exact print specifications before they leave the Fort Wayne facility.

Read and interpret blueprints and inspection instructions
Complete inspection operations and required documentation with detail, accuracy, and precision
Maintain accurate counts of parts and associated paperwork
Manage your daily workload under minimal supervision to meet personal and department goals
Notify your supervisor immediately of product discrepancies or equipment malfunctions
Follow company safety policies, including PPE, incident/injury reporting, and hazard communication
May help train new employees as needed

2+ years of inspection experience in medical device or regulated manufacturing
~ High school diploma or equivalent
~ Experience measuring physical dimensions on parts
