POSITION SUMMARY

As the Director of Engineering at 10X Health System, you will play a pivotal role in the delivery of marketing defining products and the evolution of our clinical processes. This leadership position requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in healthcare, profound expertise in technology, and exceptional communication and collaboration skills. The successful candidate will lead a dynamic engineering team, driving the development and integration of critical systems within a fast-paced, high-volume, e-commerce-focused healthcare environment.

OBJECTIVES

  • Oversee the Design and delivery of integrated solutions from 3rd-party vendors and partners and evolve our secure high-performance cloud-based APIs to support next-generation integration and go-to-market solutions.
  • Strengthen our direct-to-consumer practices in e-commerce and wellness journey management through innovative and lightweight software products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Clinical, and Finance, to ensure the seamless operation and efficiency of technology solutions that minimize paperwork and focus on delighting customers.
  • Configure the workflows and pipelines for our Sales & Marketing team, help redefine what Customer Success mean, while catering to the needs of our clinical team to work out of this system.
  • Provide hands-on leadership in the design, engineering, and successful implementation of enterprise-grade software products.
  • Build, lead and mentor a high-performing technology team, comprising developers, designers, and infrastructure-focused roles.
  • Utilize familiarity with SCRUM development and sprint cycles to lead and manage projects effectively.
  • Working with Product Management, develop and implement project roadmaps, ensuring timely delivery of critical milestones.
  • Lead the integration with partner lab providers, pharmacies, and fulfilment partners and devise secure approaches to transition relevant data between CRM, Clinical and partner systems.
  • Develop web and mobile applications for customer interaction, enabling easy service bookings, registrations, and purchases.
  • Enhance customer experience through user-friendly online platforms and interfaces.
  • Conduct recurring leadership development conversations, developing/coaching team members including bi-weekly 1:1s.


COMPETENCIES

  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of healthcare regulations, especially HIPAA and PHI, ensuring compliance in all technology solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience in the design, engineering, and implementation of enterprise-grade software products.
  • Enterprise system integration for e-commerce, finance, CRM and Clinical applications.
  • Strong solution architecture & delivery skills with a proven ability to resolve complex issues creatively.
  • Demonstrated capability of building a technology team that comprises developers, designers, and infrastructure-focused roles.
  • Ability to operate/deliver in a public cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP) that involves the development, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise software.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM-related field
  • 7+ years of active architecture, design, engineering, and implementation experience in a complex enterprise cloud environment.
  • 5+ years of experience managing technical teams.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to frequently commute to the 10X Health Center in Aventura, FL
  • Prolonged periods of time sitting at a desk or computer
