Maintenance Engineer

About the Opportunity: We're seeking a driven Maintenance Engineer for our client's Polyurethanes Division in Ringwood, Illinois. This role reports directly to the Reliability Manager and offers the chance to make a significant impact in a collaborative, small-site environment.

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

• Lead root cause analysis for maintenance-related issues and failures
• Develop and maintain preventative/predictive maintenance programs
• Manage maintenance work scheduling for craftsmen and contractors
• Oversee computerized maintenance management systems
• Conduct equipment lifecycle assessments and replacement planning
• Coordinate with procurement for parts and inventory management
• Provide technical direction to site maintenance personnel

📋 Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience (manufacturing industry preferred)
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred
• Cross-functional expertise in mechanical and electrical fields
• Strong troubleshooting and organizational skills
• Experience with ISO standards and industrial equipment
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a diverse team
