Acuity International is currently seeking Paramedics to support our Middle East Programs.
Paramedics will be assigned to treat patients in one of three settings:
(1) Field Health Unit
(2) Small medical/trauma hospitals
(3) Large medical/trauma hospital.
Location: Deploying to Iraq

Qualifications:
3 years minimum, recent experience as a Paramedic.High School diploma or equivalent and continuing education leading to a degree, certification, training as an Emergency Medical Technician and ParamedicHold and maintain an active and unrestricted State Paramedic License, free from any pending adverse actions and the ability to be favorability credentialed by Acuity policy. Required certifications:Basic Life Support (BLS)Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS)Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) or International Trauma Life Support (ITLS), or Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC), or Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC)Must have valid US PassportNational Register – Paramedic is preferred and some positions will require NR-P.Must be able to multi-task, be detail-oriented, be organized and have excellent verbal and communication skills.Proficiency with computer and common office equipment, as well as with MS Office products required.Ability to adapt to sudden changes and flexibility in work requirements to include potential shift changes based on operational needs and/or command priorities.All health care providers and medical support staff must have recent clinical experience in patient care for at least 6 months out of the past year.OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a valid, current U.S. Driver’s License.Must have a valid US Passport with no less than 6 months remaining before expiration.Requires a favorable security background check and drug screen.Must sign an International Assignment Agreement (IAA) and is bound to the terms and conditions of the IAA.Must be current in all required certifications.Shall attend a Pre-deployment Counter Terrorism training course prior to deploymentShall be proficient in the ability to speak, write and communicate in English.Shall demonstrate proficiency in the use of basic word processing programs and the Acuity Medical Management Systems software.Normal workweek is established by the Program Manager.Performs duties in a safe manner and follows the corporate safety policy.Participates in and supports safety meetings, training, and goals.Ensures safe operating conditions within area of responsibility.Maintains a clean and orderly work area.Other duties as assigned.Acuity International is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
