Requirements:
  • NJ licensed Social Worker
  • 1 year experience
  • AHA BLS
  • LSW/LCSW or LAC/LPC License
  • Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW)
  • Experience working in Emergency Psychiatric Services/"Crisis" or inpatient behavioral health settings preferred
Other Details:
  • Ability to perform psychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans.
  • Knowledge of crisis intervention theory and its application in a variety of medical settings.
  • Knowledge of psychopathology and differential diagnosis and treatment techniques.
  • Position operates on a 3-week rotation, Every 3rd weekend will need coverage and days during the week vary
  • SOMC Emergency Psychiatric Service - providing treatment in the Emergency Dept for patients presenting with acute psychiatric symptoms
