Job Summary Our Roanoke office is seeking an exceptional Mid-Level Electrical Engineer to join us as we continue with our strong growth. In this exciting role you will use your AutoCAD and REVIT skills to design electrical systems, lighting layouts, and power systems for commercial spaces. We are looking for passionate individuals who are eager to contribute to our dynamic team and work on a variety of projects.
General Duties: Perform electrical engineering calculations.  Layout and design electrical distribution  Work on lighting design and lighting controls  Design systems in accordance with the NEC and IECC  Design projects from conceptual design to completion with minimal oversite Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT is essential  Knowledge and understanding of codes, standards, and design guidelines You have an excellent work ethic and attitude Leadership ability and entrepreneurial spirit Excellent written and verbal communication skills  Good communication skills, combined with organizational skills, the ability to plan, balance and prioritize work Ability to lead a team and work as a team Ability to travel Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field is preferred but not required. You have 3+ years of experience in the design of electrical systems for various types of facilities.  EIT or PE a plus Location : Roanoke, VA Travel: 10%
