Company InformationOur client, a leading healthcare provider in the region, is expanding its services to meet the growing healthcare needs of the McAllen and Edinburg communities. With a commitment to high-quality patient care and the latest medical technologies, we are recruiting a Board Eligible/Board Certified Gastroenterologist to join our dynamic team. This position offers flexibility in employment with the aim of enhancing our comprehensive gastroenterology services.

Minimum Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  
• Completed residency in Internal Medicine, followed by a fellowship in Gastroenterology
  
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology
  
• Eligible for medical licensure in Texas
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Spanish to better serve the local patient population
  
• Strong clinical skills with a commitment to staying abreast of the latest advancements in gastroenterology
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build a robust referral network and maintain strong patient relationships
  
• Motivated to contribute to the growth and development of our gastroenterology services
  

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive gastroenterology care to the community, including diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
  
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care
  
• Participate in shared call with other Gastroenterologists, ensuring comprehensive coverage
  
• Engage in community outreach and education to promote gastrointestinal health and services
