Job Responsibilities
- Support various projects to ensure a focus on best practices and safety compliance
- Conduct field inspections and interact daily with production employees
- Conduct internal audits of site HSE programs to determine compliance
- Monitor, oversee and ensure compliance for all HSE program areas
- Coordinate and conduct internal training activities
- Lead periodic self-audits of all program areas
- Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental, Safety, or related technical discipline
- 2-5 years of industry HSE experience
- Working knowledge of Safety and Health government standards as well as Environmental regulations
- HSE knowledge of both mechanical and chemical safety
- Track record of supporting/driving organizational change towards an improved HSE culture
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Commitment to continuous improvement
