Overview: Do you wish to take your customer service skills and put them to work for a growing company? This role could be for you Our Suitability Consultant is responsible for interpreting various annuity carrier suitability requirements and educating producers/internal teams on best practices. You will help identify suitability concerns and ensure the producers are acting in the best interest of their clients. We are looking for someone who can build solid relationships with carriers, producers and internal team members and be able to confidently communicate on sensitive issues. What you’ll do:
  • Maintain the Suitability Matrix and communicate changes to internal and external clients
  • Review applications and related paperwork to determine if the product is in the best interest of the client and to ensure standards are being met
  • Identify trends from carriers regarding suitability reviews/concerns/questions
  • Assist producers in identifying potential suitability concerns and provide recommendations on solutions
  • Build and maintain relationships with producers and insurance carriers
  • Act as a liaison between insurance carriers and producers
Experience you’ll bring:
  • Previous experience working in financial services
  • Ability to gain knowledge and understanding of suitability requirements and regulations
  • Understanding of sales and service processes
  • Demonstrated ability to interact and effectively communicate with all levels of management, associates, producers, carriers, and vendors
  • Solutions driven; the ability to problem solve and use judgement from broad knowledge when addressing complex issues
  • Strong customer service, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail
