Business Intelligence Engineer II, Search Experimentation and ML

We are looking for a BIE to join the team. You will design, implement, and maintain systems used to collect and analyze data at Search scale. You will work with stakeholders to understand their customer and business questions and deliver answers in a scalable and timely manner.
Key job responsibilities
You will build key pipelines, dashboards, and reports that help Search Relevance team understand the short- and long-term impact of their weblabs. You will collaborate with DS, AS, Economists, and PMs to help understand the levers that drive the search experience.
You will proactively and independently work with stakeholders to construct use cases and associated standardized outputs. You will translate difficult business problem statements into analysis requirements and maintain high bar throughout the execution.
You will have a working knowledge of the data available or needed by the wider business for more complex or comparative analysis.
You will actively manage the timeline and deliverables of projects, focusing on interactions in the team, and communicate roadblocks to stakeholders and propose solutions to overcome those roadblocks.

Within the Search Relevance and Ranking team, our mission is to empower customers to shop effortlessly and confidently. We achieve this by providing relevant products and information through a well-organized interface. This is made possible by using ML models to gain deep insights into customer behaviors and preferences. By doing so, we ensure the delivery of the most relevant results that align with customer goals. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field- Experience developing and presenting recommendations of new metrics allowing better understanding of the performance of the business
- Knowledge of SQL and data warehousing concepts
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets- 1+ years of experience in writing and presenting insights to business leaders
