Selko USA is hiring We are looking for an Analytical Chemist to join our team in Indianapolis, Indiana. If you are looking for a great opportunity, please see the job description below:

Independently set up, run, maintain and troubleshoot analytical instrumentation.

Capability to create and validate new or revised analytical methodology.

Responsible for the entire analytical process, from sample preparation through data analysis and reporting using state-of-the-art instrumentation.

Have a good comprehension of optical spectral interferences and an understanding to resolve.

Operate in GLP environment, maintaining a pristine laboratory, as well as a GMP manufacturing environment.

Perform routine daily and weekly maintenance of the instruments used, instrument preventive maintenance and calibrations.

Trend quality control measures. Understand uncertainty of measurement and maintain measurement traceability.

Support QC laboratories for wet chemistry and other testing methodologies.

Education Bachelor of Science Chemistry or closely related field.

Experience: 5 years ICP-OES experience, preferably with simultaneous CCD/CID detectors. Proficient in the analysis of data produced by ICP-OES instrument. Experience ISO certified laboratory.

Knowledge and Abilities: Ability to wear personal protective equipment, including respirator.
