Summary:

The Recruiting & Scheduling Coordinator reports directly to the General Manager and is responsible for guiding and coordinating all recruiting and scheduling-related activities of the SYNERGY HomeCare business. This position includes leadership and management in areas of the business including recruiting processes, interviewing, and selecting qualified candidates. It also includes primary responsibility for managing the schedule for clients and caregivers.

This position entails establishing a positive office culture where caregivers want to work and promoting the office culture and benefits to prospective employees. The Recruiting & Scheduling Coordinator will be responsible for bringing in new caregivers to the business on a consistent and daily basis. Additionally, the Recruiting & Scheduling Coordinator will be responsible for collaborating with the General Manager to enhance employee satisfaction and morale as well as overall revenue growth.

Qualifications:

Knowledge of recruiting, interviewing, and making hiring decisions (preferred)

Experience working for a staffing agency or in a high-volume staffing environment preferred

Knowledge of scheduling and on-call procedures (preferred) 

Proficiency in computer skills (Google Suite, Excel, Power Point, etc) 

Knowledge of scheduling software or CRM (preferred)

Must possess leadership skills, human relations abilities, customer satisfaction skills, and organizational skills

Well-honed time management skills

Exemplary communication skills, both verbal and written

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

Finding new recruiting sources

Job postings

Phone screens

Interviews

Weekly reporting of key performance indicators

Processing employee applications, assists in other employment activities, screening, interviewing, reference checking and new employee orientation according to established guidelines

Initiating the hiring process including processing applications, background screening, interviewing and reference verification. Making hiring recommendations to the General Manager

Regular communication with clients and their families

Regular communication with caregivers

Scheduling shifts and hours by matching caregiver qualifications and availability to client’s needs

Watching a daily visit list to be sure all caregiver shifts are completed for our clients

Filling in shifts, where necessary, when there is a change or canceled shift in a client or caregiver schedule

Communicating new assignments and/or schedule changes to CGs and clients

Participating in on-call rotation, answering after-hours and weekend calls
