Responsibilities*

Development of organizational dashboards and reports, utilizing modern visualization concepts for data modeling Determine business and user needs, document requirements, and create proper requirement specifications Perform ad-hoc query writing to support various/frequent business requests Prepare, analyze, and present ad hoc or department/payer reports to departments and stakeholders Subject matter expert in Healthcare and Revenue Cycle data Track & alert leadership on KPI trends/changes based on Industry Standards/Best Practices Benchmarks Subject Matter Expert (SME) on querying HSDW utilizing TOAD or Tableau Responsible for testing & tracking of new logic, fields or visualizations in Tableau Responsible for ensuring consistent formatting, layout and functionality across entire RA Tableau inventory Customer or Leadership training and end-user support as needed  Identify, resolve, and communicate problems and barriers to Manager Prepare and communicate financial and operational reports/results using Tableau & MiChart reporting tools Assure compliance with institutional goals, objectives, policies, standards, and guidelines. Required Qualifications*

Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Business, Economics, Finance, Health Administration or related field 2-5 years professional experience Familiarity with data modeling, and other analytical tools/techniques surrounding business and financial analytics Problem solving capabilities including root cause analysis, process comprehension, development of alternative solutions, and recommended course of action Financial systems acumen, including considerable experience with Microsoft products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) Strong communication skills as well as listening skills ensuring customer requirements can be aligned with project design and outcomes Excellent verbal and written communication skills (i.e. SBARS) Detail-oriented, good organizational skills, analytical, strong problem solving/investigative skills, and ability to be self-directed Ability to assess competing priorities, manage workflow and meet operational deadlines with minimal supervision Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, build trust in working relationships with other staff and departments Ability and willingness to exhibit behaviors consistent with standards of performance improvement and organizational values (e.g., efficiency & financial responsibility, safety, partnership & service, teamwork, compassion, integrity, and trust & respect).

Desired Qualifications*

Knowledge of Michigan Medicine policies and procedures. Experience with data querying tools, or experience working with relational databases Tableau Desktop experience Epic Cogito experience - Workbench, SlicerDicer, Radar, Clarity Experience in a healthcare, higher education and/or academic medical center setting desired
