The Pre Sales Engineer will serve as the technical arm of the Sales, Client Success and Delivery Teams throughout the sales and renewal process. You will work with our customers to communicate technical requirements, explain anomalies and how we are able to reduce risk and cost to coordinate and execute the sales strategy across a national platform. You will collaborate on efforts to grow our customer base while enriching our current accounts.


Location: Remote, US
*This position is not eligible to be performed in New York, Colorado, California or Oregon.

  

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Sales and Client Success teams on current client renewals.
  • Manage a pipeline of sales opportunities using Salesforce.
  • Support Sales teams from customer needs analysis to project scoping and solution design.
  • Participate in pre-sales calls and meetings to identify client issues and business requirements.
  • Prepare SOWs, Visio Diagrams, and presentation documents.
  • Facilitate buy-in from all stakeholders.
  • Ensure customer needs are address accurately and supported by customer technical decision-makers.
  • Achieve profit and productivity quotas.




Basic Qualifications:

  • A deep understanding of Microsoft products and services including 365 and Azure.
  • 3-5 years of sales experience (with Microsoft products).
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent customer-facing presentation skills.
  • Experience solving complex customers problems through analysis.
  • The ability and experience in training and mentoring others.
  • Ability to interact and communicate at the Executive level.
  • Experience developing strategy and tactics to meet business goals.
