Responsibilities
Coverage is 24 hours: round plus call from home/hotel. In house call room also available. Days or 1 week blocks coverage needed Private patient room Level-II NICU with approximately 200 admissions per year, an ADC of 7, and a census that can flex up to 13. NICU coverage and delivery attendance only. Pediatric hospitalist service provides NBN coverage. Perinatology and other pediatric subspecialties are available by consult, including pediatric cardiology. ROP exams performed by retinal specialist in house. Unit is supported by neonatal trained speech therapists, occupational therapists, and physical therapists; pediatric-certified echo techs; and lactation consultants.
Qualifications
NY license or active IMLC required Board Certification in Neonatology with recent experience required
